This policy explains which personal data we handle when you visit this website or get in touch with us, why we handle it, and what rights you have. It applies from 5 October 2026.
1. Who is responsible for your data
The controller of your personal data is:
LINSAN, s.r.o.
Severní 258, 252 19 Chrášťany, Czech Republic
Company ID (IČO): 01389602 · VAT ID (DIČ): CZ01389602
Registered in the Commercial Register kept by the Municipal Court in Prague, Section C, Insert 205848
Email: info@linsan.cz
For anything concerning your personal data, write to us at info@linsan.cz or at the postal address above.
2. When you contact us
If you send us a message through the contact form, by email or by phone, we process the details you give us: your name, email address, phone number and company (if you provide them), and the subject and text of your message. The contact form also records the IP address and the time the message was sent.
- Why: to answer your enquiry and to take the steps you ask for before a possible business relationship; the IP address helps us protect the form against spam and misuse.
- Legal basis: steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in handling enquiries and keeping the website secure (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- How long: three years from our last communication with you. If a contract follows, we keep the data needed for it for as long as the contract and the law (for example accounting and tax rules) require.
Giving us your details is voluntary, but without a way to reach you we cannot reply.
3. When you browse the website
To deliver the pages to your browser and keep the website secure, the server processes technical data sent by your device: IP address, date and time of the request, the page requested, and the type of browser and device. We rely on our legitimate interest in running a secure website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) and keep these records only for as long as security and troubleshooting require.
The number of views shown for news articles is a simple counter; it is not linked to any person.
4. Cookies
Cookies are small files stored in your browser. We use two kinds.
Necessary cookies make the website work and are set without asking. Analytics and marketing cookies are set only if you agree in the cookie panel. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time under “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page, and you can also delete or block cookies in your browser.
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Kept for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Necessary | |||
| lang | LINSAN | Remembers the language you use on the site. | 12 months |
| linsan.sid | LINSAN | Keeps a session open. Set only when you sign in to the site administration or enter an access code. | 7 days |
| consent | LINSAN | Stores your cookie choice. | 6 months |
| Analytics — only with your consent | |||
| _ga, _ga_* | Google Analytics | Tells visitors and visits apart so that we can count them. | up to 2 years |
| _clck, _clsk and related | Microsoft Clarity | Links page views within one visit so that we can see how pages are used. | up to 12 months |
| Marketing — only with your consent | |||
| _gcl_* | Google Ads | Measures whether an advertisement led to a visit or an enquiry. | up to 90 days |
| _fbp, _fbc | Meta (Facebook, Instagram) | Measures our campaigns and builds advertising audiences. | up to 90 days |
| _ttp | TikTok | Measures our campaigns and builds advertising audiences. | up to 13 months |
| li_*, bcookie, lidc | Measures our campaigns and builds advertising audiences. | up to 12 months | |
| _uetsid, _uetvid, MUID | Microsoft Advertising | Measures our campaigns and builds advertising audiences. | up to 13 months |
The analytics and marketing cookies are set by the providers themselves and their names may change; the periods shown are the longest that normally apply. A tool we are not currently using sets no cookies.
5. Analytics
With your consent we use two tools to understand how the website is used, so that we can improve it:
- Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited) counts visits and shows us which pages are viewed, from which countries and devices, and how visitors arrive.
- Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited) records how pages are used — scrolling, clicks and movements of the pointer — and presents them as heat maps and anonymised replays of visits. Text typed into form fields is masked.
These tools process online identifiers stored in cookies, your IP address, technical information about your device and browser, and your activity on the site. We do not use them to identify you by name.
6. Advertising
With your consent we use measurement tags of the advertising platforms on which we run our campaigns:
- Google Ads (Google Ireland Limited)
- Meta Pixel for Facebook and Instagram (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited)
- TikTok Pixel (TikTok Technology Limited, Ireland)
- LinkedIn Insight Tag (LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company)
- Microsoft Advertising (Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited)
The tags tell the platform that a browser visited our website and which pages it viewed. We use this to measure whether our advertisements work and to show our advertisements to people who have visited the site or to similar audiences. The platforms process cookie identifiers, your IP address, technical information about your device and your activity on the site, and may link this to your account with them if you have one. They also use the data for their own purposes as separate controllers, under their own privacy policies.
7. Legal basis and withdrawing consent
We use the analytics and advertising tools in sections 5 and 6 only on the basis of your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 89(3) of the Czech Electronic Communications Act No. 127/2005 Coll.). Refusing has no effect on your use of the website. You can withdraw consent at any time under “Cookie settings”; this does not affect processing carried out before the withdrawal.
Privacy policies of the providers: Google, Microsoft, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn.
8. Map and links to other websites
The map on our Contact page is loaded from OpenFreeMap, using map data from OpenStreetMap contributors. To display it, your browser connects to OpenFreeMap’s servers, which receive your IP address and technical details of the request. We send them nothing else.
The website links to other sites, including the Linsan24h online shops and our social media profiles. Those sites are run under their own privacy policies; this policy does not cover them.
9. Who receives your data
- our employees who handle enquiries;
- companies that host and maintain the website and our email for us, acting on our instructions as processors;
- the providers named in sections 5, 6 and 8, to the extent described there;
- public authorities, where the law requires it.
We do not sell personal data.
10. Transfers outside the European Economic Area
The analytics and advertising providers belong to international groups, and the data they process may be transferred outside the EEA, in particular to the United States. Such transfers rely on the European Commission’s adequacy decision for the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework where the recipient is certified under it, and otherwise on the Commission’s standard contractual clauses. We do not transfer the contents of your enquiries outside the EEA ourselves; if one of our service providers were to process them there, it would be only with the safeguards the GDPR requires.
11. Your rights
You have the right to:
- ask whether we process your personal data and receive a copy of it;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data erased when we no longer have a reason to keep it;
- have the processing restricted;
- receive data you gave us in a commonly used format, or have it passed to another controller;
- object to processing that is based on our legitimate interest;
- withdraw any consent you have given.
To use any of these rights, write to info@linsan.cz. We reply within one month and do not charge a fee. We may ask you for information that confirms your identity.
If you believe we are handling your data unlawfully, you can lodge a complaint with the Czech supervisory authority: Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů, Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Praha 7, www.uoou.cz.
12. Automated decisions and security
We do not make decisions about you by automated means alone, and we do not use your data for profiling that would have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
We protect personal data with technical and organisational measures: encrypted connections, restricted and password-protected access to the administration, and regular software updates.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the website or the law changes. The date of the last update is shown at the top of the page.
